Payment and Shipping Information

UPDATE on shipping parcels to the United States: La Poste and DHL have temporarily suspended all parcel shipments from France to the United States due to the change in U.S. trade policy. All packages are now taxed, starting at $1. However, the U.S. administration has not clarified how customs duties will be collected or by whom. Hopefully, the details will be made clear, and Living a French Life can resume servicing our American clients. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

All other orders are carefully packed and sent from France via La Poste international (Colissimo) shipping or DHL International; both include tracking and insurance. It usually takes 3-5 days to prepare your order properly for its journey. We ship every Tuesday. Very large or fragile items may require an additional charge due to packing requirements and /or weight and size postal allowances. Those fees are specified in the listing description. Expect 3 weeks for international delivery. Delays may occur that are beyond our control. Know that every object is lovingly prepared for its long journey from our home to yours. However, if an item is damaged in shipping, Living a French Life accepts the responsibility of filing the claim with the provider. Your order will be reimbursed with proof of damage. We want you to have peace of mind when you purchase from us.
