Vintage Artist Set for Oils & Watercolors with Hand-painted Pats

$62.00

I find my creativity sparked when I use beautiful objects . . . And those are easy to find when you take a trip to Limoges, France in search of all things white porcelain.

I enjoy giving things a new life as something completely different. So when I discovered a basket full of what must have been vintage porcelain lids for small boxes, I thought what a perfect thing to reuse for paint pots to hold handmade paints. A French ironstone mustard tureen can hold water or thinner. Who needs a lid? A porcelain platter is a wonderful palette for mixing oils or watercolors. Add in a crystal knife rest to serve as a paintbrush holder and you have the perfect artist set. A one-of-a-kind collection to inspire your next creation.

I love that the ensemble is both vintage and modern.

Together, this set inspires creativity with both its beauty and usefulness.

All of the pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips. The oval ironstone mustard tureen measures 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) across, including its attached plate. It is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide. The crystal brush holder is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) long. The four, small, oval porcelain dishes are 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm) long and 1 1/2 inches (3.5 cm) wide. The Limoges porcelain platter with its detailed edge is 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm) square. The platter is marked “Limoges France.”

Brushes and tools are not included.
