Bernardaud’s porcelain adventure began in 1863 in Limoges, France. This region was perfect for making porcelain ware given the local clay, fresh water, and forests to fuel the kilns. B & Co is still manufacturing china to high standards.

This set of 5 early to mid-20th-century dessert plates has the sweetest border of cabbage roses around its rim. Soft pinks and greens make these plates perfect for an afternoon tea. The gold rim has almost all but disappeared attesting to their age. But there are no chips or cracks. The plates are marked.
