Sometimes I’m attracted to objects because they’re so darn sweet. This small, vintage condiment bowl with its attached under plate is hand painted Nippon with delicate pink roses and blue forget-me-nots. I can see it holding your favorite jam or crème fraîche on your breakfast table. But it would be right at home in a little girl’s bathroom vanity.

It is in fair vintage condition. There are a few black dots on the inside of the bowl that are part of the original glaze and one tiny nick on the underside of the plate. Please note the photos. I have had this piece in my personal collection for 30 years. I decided it was time to let it find its new owner and start a different story.
