This is most likely the oldest object in my current collection. A wonderful antique pottery form is more than 100 years old. Handmade with such a sweet size and simple shape. . . quintessential Alsace, France. I think her days of making cakes or Kugelhopf is over. The best choice is to display her proudly amongst your favorite kitchen pottery pieces. She has imperfections to her glaze and a tiny nick on her rim that no doubt happened long ago. Her chocolate color is rich and complex. A wonderful addition to your rustic pottery collection.
