Vintage French Luneville Porcelain Salad / Dessert Plates

from 45.00

We are back in the family’s attic in Alsace and unwrapped another wonderful set of early 20th-century French porcelain ware. These luncheon or dessert plates are marked Lunéville, the famous royal manufacturer in Lorraine founded in 1730. Its French porcelain works are appreciated by collectors of vintage tableware around the world.

The pink and gold floral design is hand painted and the colors are still vibrant and visually charming after all these years. A bit shabby chic in feel with the added detail of the gold, scalloped rim. A rare design to be sure.

On the back of the plates, there is the "Lunéville Badonviller France" golden stamp topped with its golden crown emblem and KG.

The entire set is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks on the plates or platter. You will find very light rubbing to the gold rims, and slight imperfections in the original glaze. Only mentioned for accuracy of description as the collection is in fabulous vintage condition.

There is one platter in excellent vintage condition that measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. You can see its very good condition and design with the scalloped edge depicted in the first two photos. $65

I also have three sets of 4 Luncheon / Dessert plates that measure 7 1/4 inches in diameter. $45 for a set of 4 plates
