I’m flexible in how I set my table. Sometimes it’s a casual alfresco dining experience. Sometimes I bring out my favorite transferware plates and Saint Louis stemware. No matter what the setting, beautiful linen napkins are a must.

I love to repurpose all sorts of linens for my table. Torchons or dish towels make great large napkins. And I also love to use mouchoirs or handkerchiefs for a less formal lunch.

This set of 11 mouchoirs is monogrammed “MB”. They are in beautiful vintage condition. They came straight from a linen press here in southwest France. I love the added dark grey, red, and white stitching. They’re feminine with their monogram but masculine in their simple, modern style.
